Sydney is in for a rare musical treat this weekend as acclaimed German producer Einmusik aka Samuel Kindermann, opens his Australian tour at the Burdekin hotel on April 20th hosted by Spektrum events.
Respected equally for his live performances - incorporating elements from drum machines and analog synthesizers - and his craftsmanship in the studio, you can be sure of a masterclass as the Berlin-based artist effortlessly translates his productions to the club setting.
After releasing music on top flight labels like Noir Music, Katermukke and Diynamic, Einmusik established his own Einmusika Recordings imprint with the mantra, ‘every journey creates a new sound’. A platform to showcase exciting production talent from all over the world, the label has released over 100 EPs since 2006 and boosted the careers of artists like Budakid and Kindermann’s long-time collaborator Jonas Saalbach. Here’s a taste of the two of them performing at Berlin's iconic spy tower, Teufelsberg:
Arguably the standout release from Einmusika Recordings’ impressive catalogue is his own two-part LP ‘Serenade’ – a cross-genre journey that weaves the pace of pulsating dance with the composition of classical music. In his own words, Einmusik described the album as bringing "moments of freedom and magic" with 'Movement I' clearly for the club and open air parties and 'Movement II' for relaxing at home with headphones on.
Einmusik delivered more magic recently with his latest EP ‘Flare’ – a fusion of expressive melodies and techy energy that culminates in the solid vocal collaboration ‘Reeling’ with Australian producer, Haptic. Check it out here:
With an arsenal of tracks at his disposal and an ability to deliver the goods, you can expect Einmusik to take you on a mesmerising journey at the Burdekin this Saturday.
